About Alex

I am a photographer with a full-time job shooting products for Saks Fifth Avenue. I love music and horror movies. I photograph concerts as well as portraits and weddings. I am a fine-art photographer fascinated with the concept of identity. I grew up near Scranton Pennsylvania where I currently live. For much of my life, on and off, I have been a cancer patient as well. Throughout my journey there has been a tendency to try to distance myself from being a patient, but I have grown to embrace this part of my identity. Fighting cancer sucks, but I have found meaning in my pain and it is my mission to share my perspective, which applies to more than just cancer patients and their families. My insights are universal as they deal with subjects such as love, relationships, finances, spirituality, fear, pharmaceuticals, homeopathy, and mortality.
